More About The Float
This is a great adventure for beginners looking to have fun while learning some outdoor skills. At the beginning of the float each person will receive a pack with different items to use during your time in the wild (items in the packs vary and are unknown to you until the day of the adventure). The float covers close to 14 miles from start to finish. We float 6.5 miles the first day, making periodic stops to explore, swim and go over some survival skills. At camp you will use gear and natural resources to build shelters, and collect wood to build a camp fire to cook food. The following morning we will start the fire back up, cook breakfast, dismantle shelters, pack up and finishing the last 7 miles ending around 1 to 2pm. The takeout location is at a private campground where we will have your vehicles waiting for you so you can head out from there!
